District 3 Supervisor

Angela Hutchins graduated from North Natchez High School and furthered her education by earning a bachelor’s degree in Office Administration from Alcorn State University in 1985, a MBA in Business Administration from Alcorn School of Business in 2009, and received an Award of Completion on Crucial Conversations and Influencer from Delta Leadership Institute administered by the University of Alabama.

Hutchins has been actively involved in the community. She has organized voter registration drives, neighborhood watch meetings, summer feeding program, political forums, delivered food to the elderly for the Stewpot, volunteered with CASA during Child Abuse Prevention Month, painted homes for Habitat for Humanity, helped raise money for Relay for Life, and mentored community youths.

She and her family are active life long members of Holy Family Catholic Church where she serves as an Usher and a member of the church Fund Raiser Committee.

Hutchins is a member and serve on the Board of Directors for the Mississippi Association of Supervisors, Mississippi Minority Caucus, National Association for Advancement of Colored People, Commissioner for the Local Workforce Board, Liaison for Mississippi Action in Progress (MAP), Board of Directors for the Southwest Planning and Development District and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
